"Sea Hunter" offers a state of the art charter boat with a luxury finish. It is one of the best equipped vessels available today for both diving and deep sea fishing. Blackwater Cruises

The tour leaves from Youghal jetty and travels North up the River Blackwater, past Rhincrew and towards the old bridge and the remains of Templemichael Castle. Passing Molana Abbey on the left, entering a tranquil, unspoilt area of natural beauty, as yet untouched by urban development. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes subject to weather and tides. The boat may also be chartered for longer trips.

Youghal Golf Club

Youghal Life Boat

Youghal's Lifeboat Station is one of the oldest stations in Ireland as it dates back to 1839. The first lifeboat was funded by Youghal's townspeople at a cost of £76 to build and put into service. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (R.N.L.I) took over the running of Youghal's Lifeboat in 1857.

Tynte's Castle

Tynte's Castle is a late fifteenth Century urban tower house. It is the only remaining example of several urban tower houses that were formally to be found in Youghal, County Cork, Ireland.

Youghal Celebrates History

A voluntary group dedicated to preserving and promoting our unique heritage in this wonderful walled port town. Youghal was an important administrative and commercial centre in the late Medieval period and up to the 19th century. In earlier times the area was associated with significant monastic settlements such as Molana Abbey which had an international reputation for scholarship. There were other monastic groups in Youghal after the arrival of the Normans - there were Franciscans, Benedictines and Dominicans.

Youghal Pipe Band

One of the longest existing pipebands in Ireland. Founded in 1914 by Danny (Duis) McCarthy. Here you will find information on the history of the band and the latest news.

Youghal Rugby Club

The Club was formed in November 1963 by local rugby enthusiasts. Eventually grounds at Frogmore were purchased and the Club has played its games there ever since. Some notable achievements over the years were the Munster Junior Div 2 Champions in 1992, Division 1 Champions in 1993 and again in 2006. Some club members who have gone on to achieve full provincial honours are Eddie O'Sullivan and Dave O'Callaghan (Munster).

The Mall Arts Centre

This spectacularly sited 230-year-old riverside arts venue, is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Youghal in East Cork. The first floor performance area in Youghal's historic town hall, has been completely renovated as a multi-purpose theatre and arts venue. The stage and performance area can be adapted to a number of uses including theatre performance, dance, concerts, readings, exhibitions, workshops and public meetings.
